one quarter of a century

Today I turned 25.  If you think that's old, the United States Marine Corps also celebrated today, and it turned 236.  So thank you to the Marines around the world keeping us safe, particularly my own.  In honor of that, and as a present to me, here is this incredibly handsome picture of my husband:

 I have no idea when or where that was taken, but it makes me smile and cry at the same time.  I love him, and I'm lucky to share a birthday with him (and all the other devil dogs out there).

As for us back home... we celebrated with a wonderful family dinner, ice cream cake and presents.  And I spent all day cuddling with my main man.  I even got a gorgeous floral surprise from 7,000 miles away!
